Many of Santa Ana’s youth live in conflict-ridden surroundings and it is crucial to provide them a classroom education to help them get out of live in the streets.
El Salvador’s youth are enthusiastic followers of many sports. The project also includes a gender component to help empower young Salvadoran girls. All these elements will have an influence in reducing gender and family violence, as well as in developing an environmental awareness, a key element for the sustainability of a country like El Salvador.
The project shall also foster sport schools, it will contemplate the training of sport monitors and the organization of sport tournaments that will include Salvadoran traditional games.
