This was a humanitarian aid initiative which focused on health and social instability caused by poor housing and its destruction during the floods of 2006, which caused lack of safe drinking water and the collapse of basic healthcare and public hygiene systems. The project provided 20 houses for the neediest of the families in Jean Rabel, plus five water-tanks ready to use for the consumption of clean water. This program centered on preventive primary health care, and included activities of sports and environmental education. With the help of expatriate personnel of Sport Network and a group of local monitors we implemented an ongoing sports program.
