“Healthcare support of girls at risk through sport and leisure cultural activities''.

• Sport Network Funders: Madrid City Council 38,000 euro, AECID (Spanish Agency for International Cooperation and Development) 19,000 euros
• Duration: 12 months
BRIEF SUMMARY: This project is located in a poor slum of Lusaka. Its aim is to help girls with sports activities. To achieve this, we are going to build a multipurpose sport facility that will be used every day of the week. Additionally, we shall also train 24 female youth leaders and organize several sports festivals, particularly basketball and soccer, the sport activities most engaged in among the female population from this region of Zambia.
